신선미 개인전 《화실소사 畵室小史 : 화실의 작은 역사》는 서울 더 트리니티 갤러리에서 2026년 3월 24일부터 4월 30일까지 진행된다. 이번 전시는 한국 채색화의 섬세한 제작 과정과 화실에 축적된 창작의 시간을 하나의 서사로 풀어낸다. 작가는 신작 《채색화 이야기》(2026)를 중심으로 아교반수와 스케치, 채색에 이르는 작업 과정을 시각화하며, 오랜 시간 공들여 완성하는 채색화의 깊이를 드러낸다. 기존 작품에 등장하는 개미 요정과 인물들은 화실의 풍경 속으로 들어와 현실과 그림의 경계를 허물고, 작가의 일상과 상상의 세계가 공존하는 독특한 장면을 만들어낸다. 이를 통해 개인적인 창작 공간인 화실은 관람객과 그림 속 존재들이 함께 소통하는 열린 무대로 확장되며, 예술에 담긴 시간과 몰입의 의미를 되새기게 한다.
