테즈킴 개인전 《hE was just A funny boy》는 2022년 6월 8일부터 25일까지 서울 갤러리세줄에서 열린다. 이번 전시는 유년의 기억을 통해 순수함과 자유로움, 불안과 외로움이 공존하는 인간의 내면을 탐구하며, 경쟁과 통제가 일상화된 현대 사회에 대한 질문을 던진다. 테즈킴은 한국의 경제 성장기와 인도네시아에서 보낸 어린 시절의 경험을 바탕으로 글로벌 브랜드와 대중문화의 이미지를 작품 속에 재구성한다. 작가 자신을 투영한 듯한 동글동글한 소년 캐릭터는 장난기와 호기심을 지닌 동시에 세상에 대한 의문과 복합적인 감정을 드러낸다. 바나나를 던지는 소년, 우비를 입고 곁눈질하는 소년, 갈매기를 타고 하늘을 나는 소년 등 다양한 장면은 유쾌한 상상력과 사회적 메시지를 함께 전달한다. 산업디자인을 전공한 작가 특유의 감각적인 구성과 서사적 표현은 개인의 기억을 보편적인 경험으로 확장하며, 관람객에게 잊고 지냈던 유년의 감정과 인간 존재의 본질을 되돌아보게 한다.
