Vincent McIndoe is a Canadian artist and illustrator, known for his extensive work bridging both fine art and commercial art. After graduating from the Ontario College of Art and Design, he continued his studies in art restoration and traditional painting techniques, experimenting with various media. He later taught painting and multimedia at Sheridan College and OCAD, mentoring the next generation of artists.

He was commissioned by the Canadian federal government to design a stamp featuring a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in 1996, and went on to design over 20 different Canadian stamps. McIndoe has collaborated with global brands such as Time, Playboy, Nike, BMW, Nestlé, and Marvel Studios, building a unique world of illustration. His paintings explore the layers of human emotion, love, and memory, using visual metaphors expressed through flowers and natural forms.

McIndoe has said that “flowers are mirrors reflecting life and memory,” and he deconstructs and reconfigures them to express the emotional structures within the human soul. His works feature a harmonious blend of delicate colors and structural compositions, combining the lyricism of illustration with the depth of fine art. He currently splits his time between Canada and South Korea, with his works widely held in both public institutions and private collections.
