Alison Goodwin was born in 1959 in Montreal, Canada, and has nurtured her dream of becoming an artist since the age of five. She studied art at the University of Southern Maine and the Portland School of Art, developing a distinctive painting style rooted in traditional landscapes that evolved over time into an explosion of vivid color and dynamic energy.
