Funding platform Wadiz has unveiled a special limited-edition print series by Kim Whanki, a pioneering figure in Korean abstract art. The pre-order event, running until July 12, drew immediate attention, attracting more than 1,000 early sign-ups immediately after opening.

The edition consists of five works—three silk-screen prints and two archival prints—each limited to 30 copies and accompanied by the artist foundation’s verification, handwritten signature, and edition numbering. Production was led by ARTN Edition, an edition-art specialist known for working with artists such as Park Seo-Bo and Eva Armisen. All works come with a premium wooden frame, ready for display.

Through this project, Wadiz aims to make high-value artworks more accessible, while its art-category funding continues to show strong momentum, recording over 50% growth compared to the previous quarter.

펀딩 플랫폼 와디즈가 한국 추상미술의 거장 김환기 화백의 특별 한정판 판화를 국내 최초로 공개했다. 7월 12일까지 진행되는 프리오더는 오픈 직후 1천 명 이상이 사전 신청에 참여하며 높은 관심을 모았다.

이번 에디션은 실크 스크린 3종, 아카이벌 판화 2종 등 총 5종으로, 작가 재단의 검수와 친필 사인, 에디션 넘버링이 포함된 30점 한정판이다. 제작은 박서보·에바 알머슨 등과 협업해온 에디션 아트 전문 브랜드 아트앤에디션이 맡았다. 모든 작품에는 원목 관 액자가 포함돼 바로 전시가 가능하다.

와디즈는 이번 프로젝트를 통해 고가의 미술 작품을 보다 합리적으로 소장할 수 있는 기회를 제공하며, 아트 분야 펀딩 역시 전 분기 대비 50% 이상 증가하는 성장세를 보이고 있다.
