The inaugural exhibition “Park Seo-Bo & Huong Dodinh: Emptiness Fullness” is presented at PARKSEOBO MUSEUM in Seoul from Aug 21, 2026 – Jan 3, 2027. Bringing together Park Seo-Bo (1931–2023), a leading figure in Korean contemporary art, and Huong Dodinh (1945–), a Vietnamese-born artist based in France, the exhibition explores how two distinct practices converge through repetition, restraint, and meditative concentration. Park repeatedly draws lines across hanji-covered surfaces as a process of emptying emotion, while Dodinh builds up numerous layers of mineral pigment to create subtle depths of light. Though their materials and methods differ, both artists pursue a form of painting in which removing the unnecessary leads toward greater density and fullness.

박서보미술관 개관전 《박서보와 흐엉 도딘: 비움 그 충만》은 서울 박서보미술관에서 2026년 8월 21일부터 2027년 1월 3일까지 진행된다. 한국 현대미술을 대표하는 박서보(1931–2023)와 베트남에서 태어나 프랑스를 기반으로 활동해 온 흐엉 도딘(1945–)의 작품을 함께 선보이며, 서로 다른 시대와 문화적 배경 속에서 구축된 두 회화가 반복과 절제, 수행이라는 공통된 미학을 통해 만나는 지점을 조명한다. 박서보는 한지를 덧댄 화면 위에 선을 반복하며 감정을 비워내는 수행적 회화를 탐구하고, 흐엉 도딘은 광물 안료를 여러 겹 쌓아 빛과 깊이가 화면 안에서 스스로 드러나는 추상 회화를 구축한다. 서로 다른 조형 언어를 지닌 두 작가는 불필요한 것을 덜어내는 과정을 통해 비움이 오히려 깊은 밀도와 충만함으로 이어지는 회화의 가능성을 보여준다.
