The invited solo exhibition “火花畵 : a bloom born of fire” by Joo Myung Han is presented at Sejong Museum Gallery 1 from Jun 10 – Jun 21, 2026. Moving across craft, fine art, painting, and sculpture, the artist presents around 100 works that begin with wood blackened by a studio fire. Through these works, charred wood is transformed into images of life, reflecting the cycle of loss, regeneration, nature, and recovery.

주명한 기획초대전 《火花畵 : a bloom born of fire》는 세종대학교 세종뮤지엄갤러리 1관에서 2026년 6월 10일부터 6월 21일까지 진행된다. 이번 전시는 작업실 화재로 검게 탄 나무를 새로운 창작의 출발점으로 삼아, 숯이 된 나무가 생명의 형상으로 다시 태어나는 과정을 보여준다. 작가는 소멸과 생성이 공존하는 자연의 순환을 통해 상실 이후의 회복과 다시 시작하는 희망을 전한다.
