UARTSPACE presents the solo exhibition “Urban Painting” by Shin Chang Yong from Oct 22 – Nov 22, 2025. The exhibition examines the shared confusion, pain, and memories of urban life. 신창용 개인전 《도시 그림》은 유아트스페이스에서 2025년 10월 22일부터 11월 22일까지 진행된다. 이번 전시는 도시인들이 공유하는 혼란과 고통, 추억의 감각을 중심으로 과거의 절대적 신념을 그리워하는 정서를 다룬다. 작가에게 슈퍼히어로는 기억 속 이상적 자아를 복원하려는 시도이자 현실 인간의 불완전함을 드러내는 은유로 제시된다. 한때 정의와 구원의 상징이었던 존재는 소비된 신화의 잔상으로, 현대인의 정체성과 기억을 비추는 장치로 작동한다. 작가는 향수, 정체성, 구원의 욕망이라는 키워드를 통해 현대 도시 속 분열된 자아의 단면을 제시한다.
