DIA Contemporary presents “Suh Heesu: Last Summer,” a solo exhibition titled “내가 경험한 짙은초록,” on view at DIA Contemporary in Yeonhui from July 26 – August 24, 2024. The exhibition showcases new works by Suh Heesu that explore unconscious wounds and the resilient qualities of nature through materials such as bandage-textured ceramics and tree bark surfaces. Inspired by experiences in the rugged Gotjawal Forest in Jeju, the artist’s work reflects on themes of decay, regeneration, and the cycles of life, inviting viewers into a multisensory experience of deep green and layered emotions within the space.
