The group exhibition Afternoon & Morning. Morning & Afternoon by Chris Ro and Yunim Kim is presented at RANEE SEOUL in Seoul from Oct 20 – Nov 17, 2023. This first joint show by the two artists explores a narrative of co-existence and empathy, linking their distinctive practices much like the flow of morning into afternoon. Chris Ro’s diverse painting and installation works convey movement and color tempo with playful, dynamic compositions, while Yunim Kim’s practice interprets traditional aesthetics through natural materials and meditative abstraction, creating a multifaceted visual conversation.
크리스 로 & 김연임 2인전 《Afternoon & Morning. Morning & Afternoon》는 2023년 10월 20일부터 11월 17일까지 라니서울에서 열린다. 서로 다른 표현과 재료를 사용하는 두 작가는 전통과 현대, 평면과 입체, 여백과 가득참이 유기적으로 결합된 작품 세계를 통해 친밀한 공존과 감정적 연결을 보여준다. 작가들의 작업은 각각의 특색을 유지하면서도 일상을 이어가는 오전과 오후처럼 자연스럽게 만나며, 관람객에게 새로운 시각적 공감의 경험을 제시한다.
