소요킴 SOYO KIM
소요킴 작가는 캔버스 위를 이리저리 산책하듯 그림을 그린다. 사물 너머의 마음에 돛을 세우고, 숲과 들판, 바다를 항해하듯 붓을 든다. 캔버스 위에 아크릴 오일 페인팅으로 거침없이 자유로운 추상화를 펼친다.
그림을 통해 지정된 자유를 느끼는 작가는, 작업을 하다 보면 닿아 있는 곳이 타인의 마음이기도 하고 작가 자신의 마음이기도 하다고 말한다. 사람으로 인해 설레고, 기쁘고, 갈망하고, 안타깝고, 때로는 슬프고 즐거웠던 시간의 고백을 그림 속에 담아낸다.
