She is an artist who expresses inner emotions through nature, primarily painting flowers and trees. Observing how flowers are cherished in full bloom yet often ignored once they wither, she reflects on human psychology and explains that her paintings aim to preserve the most beautiful moments of flowers.

Although flowers may appear to be a familiar and traditional subject, Park’s approach to painting is distinctly her own. Through countless trials and experiments, she has mastered a wide range of materials and techniques, combining Western painting media such as oil and acrylic with less conventional materials like mineral pigments and pearl powder oil pigments. This unique combination emphasizes the sculptural thickness and tactile quality of paint, conveying the tangible vitality of flowers in bloom.

Believing that the delicate sensation of petals cannot be fully captured in a single brushstroke, Park applies paint in thick layers to evoke their texture and presence. Like her wish for happiness to be shared by as many people as there are petals, her works allow viewers to experience the powerful culmination of flowers blooming three-dimensionally across the canvas.
