김한나는 첼시 예술대학교 순수미술과 석사 과정을 마친 후 서울을 기반으로 활발히 활동하는 젊은 아티스트이다. 그의 작품에는 ‘잇고 조합하고 생성하는 과정’에서 축적된 힘이 느껴지며, 그 힘을 나누고자 경계를 허무는 내재적 의지가 담겨 있다. 마치 ‘젊은 예술가 김한나’의 초상을 그대로 담고 있는 듯한 작품 세계를 보여준다.

작가는 중심으로부터 탈락하여 주변으로 밀려난 것들을 관찰한다. 나무 패널을 직접 잘라 부조 형식으로 재조형하고, 그 안에 덩어리진 유화 물감과 거칠게 남아 있는 나무 단면을 그대로 남겨 직관적이고 날것의 감정을 작품에 담아낸다. 이는 사랑이라는 단어 안에 내포된 이기적이고 정치적인 면모를 조각 언어로 치환하려는 시도이기도 하다.

김한나는 <예술의 시간 ARTIST PROLOGUE 2022>, <2021 Transition Navigator>, <의외의 조합>, <쇼룸: 매일의 조각>, <디스위켄드룸> 등 다양한 전시를 진행하였다. 그의 작품은 서울특별시와 양주시립 장욱진미술관 등에 소장되어 있다.

Kim Hanna completed her Master’s in Fine Arts at Chelsea College of Arts and is an actively practicing young artist based in Seoul. Her works convey the accumulated energy of the process of “connecting, combining, and generating,” along with an intrinsic will to break boundaries and share that energy. Her art feels like a portrait of the young artist herself.

She observes objects and elements that have been marginalized from the center to the periphery. By cutting wooden panels and reshaping them into bas-relief forms, leaving clumped oil paint and rough wood surfaces intact, she captures raw, intuitive emotions. This approach attempts to translate the selfish and political dimensions inherent in the concept of love into the language of sculpture.

Kim Hanna has participated in exhibitions such as <ARTIST PROLOGUE 2022>, <2021 Transition Navigator>, <Unexpected Combinations>, <Showroom: Daily Sculpture>, and <DisWeekendRoom>. Her works are held in collections including the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Yangju Jang Uk-jin Museum.
